Play adaptation by Susan Nanus, based on the book The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster
Milo travels to Lands Beyond after he finds a tollbooth and map in his room one day. The journey defies expectations and doldrums to reveal adventures in Dictionopolis and Digitopolis. It even inspires a quest to bring back Rhyme and Reason so that balance may be restored in the use of words and numbers. This stage version of the book by Norton Juster encourages us to imagine what we don’t know and risk new answers, even when faced with the same “boring” questions.
