Description

The Wind Ensemble is excited to welcome you to our first concert of the term. We will be performing a premiere transcription of Missy Mazzoli's Vesper Sparrow, done by UO's own Micah Laird. As well as Danzon No.2 and Joel Puckett's flute concerto featuring Dr. Jacqueline Cordova-Arrington.

 

The Oregon Wind Ensemble (OWE) is the premiere concert organization of the U of O Band department and is comprised of the finest music and non-major wind, brass, and percussion students. Through the performance of a wide range of repertoire, the OWE provides an opportunity for our students to develop and refine their individual musicianship.
