ENGLISH:
    Our first annual "Noche de Unidos" is hosted by Unidos at UO Hispanic Public Relations Student Association. Noche de Unidos is a community-based event that brings our students, faculty, staff, parents, and community of culture together for a night of celebration. With this on-going pandemic and a lack of representation throughout Oregon we have missed the “together-ness” piece that our cultures naturally embrace. Noche de Unidos will have food from locally-owned Hispanic/Latine Oregon restaurant, meat and grocery market El Torito and will be serving traditional beverages. Such as Aguas frescas and Jarritos. We will be sharing different styles of music such as: pop, urban latino-reggaeton, indie, banda, nortena, merengue, salsa, bachata, and many more styles that have been written and produced by Hispanic and Latine artists. The entertainment this year will highlight traditional regional folk dances from Mexico by Ballet Folklorico Ritmo Alegre from Medford, Oregon, as well classic games some of us grew up playing alongside our families.

"Noche de Unidos" es nuestro primer evento anual organizada por “Unidos at UO” la Asociación de Estudiantes de Relaciones Públicas Hispanas de la Universidad de Oregon. Noche de Unidos es un evento comunitario que reúne a nuestros estudiantes, profesores, personal, padres y comunidad cultural juntos para una noche de celebración. Durante esta pandemia nos a faltado ese sentiment que nuestras culturas adoptan naturalmente. La Noche de Unidos tendrá comida del restaurant, ercado y carneseria El Torrito. Y tambien se servirán bebidas tradicionales. Como Aguas frescas y Jarritos. Estaremos compartiendo diferentes estilos de música como: pop, urbano latino-reggaeton, indie, banda, nortena, merengue, salsa, bachata, y muchos más estilos que han sido escritos y producidos por artistas hispanos y latinos. Este año tenemos bailes folclóricos regionales tradicionales de México del Ballet Folklórico Ritmo Alegre de Medford, Oregón, y tambien juegos clásicos que algunos de nosotros crecimos jugando juntos con nuestras familias.
